We went to our 1st All Saints Party last Friday night. What a blast. Each family brought a covered dish or 2 and there were games, Catholic ones. Each family got up and told the group what saint they were and information on the saint if they knew any. It was great. My camera died so all I have is a picture of the baby as Mother Therasa. My son was St. Micheal the Archangel, 9yr old was Mary, oldest girl was an angel and my 4yo was St. Bernadette, she even had a little basket of fire wood. TOO CUTE!.

If you guys did anything, let me know and I wanna see pics!!!

We had our annual homeschool All Saints Day party this year too. My oldest (at fifteen) went as a crusader (a virtuous one, he said). The next two didn’t wear costumes. The third went as St. Bernadette. My 7 year old went as St. Gabriel Posseti (he carried a gun). My almost 4 year old went as St. Martin de Torres.

I was supposed to bring a pinata, but I didn’t get to it. :o . But, we had cheese pizza, treats, and carnival type games. We did a litany of the saints–the kids just stood up on a chair and announced their saint and we responded, “pray for us.”

After we ate, the older kids ran some of the game stations, then they went outside to play flashlight tag.

It was a lot of fun. 👍 unfortunately, my oldest dd erased the pictures!! but, I have some from last year.

I love the baby as Mother Teresa! I am going to keep that in mind for next year. I love the donut on the string game - clever to tie them to a stick, I never thought of that. I always avoid it because I envision complete chaos as children arrive to a party with donuts hanging off the woodwork, but the stick would avoid that.

We had one Saturday am for our Homeschool group as well, my camera was dead so I hava no pics. Mine went as Kateri Tekawitha, St Michael the Archangel and St Ignatius of Loyola (they had cool knight costumes that just couldn’t go to waste)
