All Souls Day Resolution

On this All Souls Day, what a great opportunity to start a new years resolution. St. Gertrude informs us that for every recital by a devout person in friendship with God, 1000 souls are released from purgatory. What an excellent sign of our Lord’s mercy. It shows us how anxious he is to have us join him in heaven.
