I agree, Muslims have a reductionist view of the trinity. You can’t just mold God to your preconceived notion that your limited mind may understand.

Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” John 8.58
But you have told us that God (High Exalted be He Above what you claim) came in flesh so that we can understand Him by our limited mind.

Why is there more confusion after Jesus?

Jesus isnt confusing, its just when people who dont believe in him are the ones who are confusing. :o

Planten are you for real, or just a robot programmed to post the same old nonsense over and over again? You never answer anything, just keep attacking those who do not agree with your perception of Muhammad, Islam or the Quran. You claim to love Jesus, but whenever someone points to something bad Muhammad did, you start your attacks on Jesus as well. What hypocrisy! And yes, your blind faith in Muhammad and Islam has rendered you incapable of any rational thinking as Grace has already pointed out.

Booklover, I do not attack Jesus. I attack your teachings and thinking about Jesus which are wrong, and that I do by your own books. So whatever is wrong (unbelievable) in your book is your wrong thinking. So do not worry. I have my due respect for Jesus. But I will prove that you have no respect for Jesus. I hope you will allow that. You people said good-Bye to Jesus long ago..

Hi Ellen! Glad you’re back!

Where is the confusion? Jesus revealed the meek and humble face of the one true living God. "If you see Me, you have seen the Father," he says.

You ask about the Old Testament. But let me ask you. What happend when King David saw the beautiful naked woman who was washing herself? David had her husband sent to the front line so that the King could sleep with her. That was a crime and evil. And the big king saw that and he came to God in tears and repentance, setting an example for posterity as a repentant sinner.
At least Mohammad didn’t do what you claim David did of crimes in your bible.

Peace be upon prophet Mohammad and his family.
David is above what is mentioned in the bible.
The Old Testament is the first covenant, the time of justice. The law of moses was imperfect, that means, lower than what Good God truly intented for his people.

From Adam to Christ the people was being raised, prpared and protected from false gods for the purpose that they would bring forth the Messiah Jesus from their midst for the salvation of all mankind.
Jesus said:
17“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I didn’t come to destroy them, but to fulfill them, 18because I tell you with certainty that until heaven and earth disappear, not one letter[h] or one stroke of a letter will disappear from the Law until everything has been accomplished. 19So whoever sets aside* one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven 20because I tell you, unless your righteousness greatly exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!” *

**Dzhereme, nobody turned out the Jews and Christians out of Arabia. (Mostly Jews). You should first know that why the Jews were there in the first place.

Jews were setteled in and around Madinah because their prophecies told them “That Prophet” of Deut 18:18 was going to be born in that area. But when the prophet appeared in Makkah and started his preaching, the Jews disbelieved. When the prophet had to run for his life in year 622 A.D. and he migrated to Madinah, and he made a pact with the Jews for peaceful co-existence in Madinah, the Jews violated that pact every time.

Can you tell me why the highly monotheistic Jews had to collaborate with the pagans against the prophet? What those Jews had anything in common with the pagans of Arabia?. The Jews sided with the Pagans even in times of war thus intending to cause harm to the Muslims. One Jewess tried to poison the prophet. Keep all this in the log of activities of the Jews, please.

Otherwise Muslims had nothing against the Jews.**

There was no danger to the Muslims and Islam from the Jews. They could never corrupt the Quran. The Jews may have had to go away for misbehavior and misdeeds mentioned above, not for the fear that they will corrupt any of the Muslims ways…

.
** Why not?. The prophet wrote letters of peaceful co-existence to the kings of Persia, Rome and Egypt. The king of Egypt sent a good reply and some gifts. The King of Rome (Christian, catholic) also was convinced of the truth of the prophet. But his Priests did not allow him to act in the right direction. However he also sent back a good reply.

The King of Persia tore the letter of the Prophet Muhammad into pieces. When the news reached the prophet about the fate of his letter, he said that the kingdom of Persia will be torn into pieces. That was by his vision, not due to any ill will.

Now, I present something from bibleOT : Habakkuk chapter 3. That is a prophecy about the appearance of a great prophet from Arabia (See Teman. And Paran.). It exactly happened like that. The tents of Cushan (Palestine) were in distress and the dwellings of Midian (Persian) in anguish when the forces of Muhammad moved to Palestine and Persia… Please note the word “his praise”. Praise is called “Hamd” in Arabic. That was Muhammad, the praised one. .**

**Habakkuk’s Prayer
1 A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. On shigionoth .
3 God came from Teman,
the Holy One from Mount Paran.
Selah
His glory covered the heavens
and his praise **filled the earth.
4 His splendor was like the sunrise;
rays flashed from his hand,
where his power was hidden.
5 Plague went before him;
pestilence followed his steps.
6 He stood, and shook the earth;
he looked, and made the nations tremble.
The ancient mountains crumbled
and the age-old hills collapsed.
His ways are eternal.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in distress,
the dwellings of Midian in anguish.
.

I asked you about your god Jesus ordering the Jews to kill every one. You have not replied to that. I am not interested in what David did. I know all about that. And, repentance? That is not your line. You have the blood of an innocent man (Jesus) to save you. Where is justice? Where is repentance? We have repentance in Islam.

.
I feel that you lost your balance now. I am not interested in your lecture about what david did and what could not do. You are wandering into unnecessary fields. Perhaps too much upset when you are faced with the truth. You have no real reply. I won’t bother you any more.

What justice? Is it justified to punish an innocent man (Jesus) for the crimes (sins) of others?

I respect and love Jesus and Moses and Abraham and Jacob and Issac. While you may be loving few of them only and you are hating Muhammad. So you know where you stand?

Thanks for the trouble you took to write all that (too long) lecture of Hatred for Muhammad… You can have your hatred. I can have my love. Thanks
.

G o o d N i g h t.
thank you very much dear planten, May Allah reward you a good reward.

best wishes.

Actually the Trinity came to Abraham… have you not read the Old Testament? It says: "Once upon a time God showed himself to Abraham: he looked up and saw THREE MEN. Abraham ran to them and threw himself down on the arth infront of them and he said: LORD… ".
  1. And verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibrahîm (Abraham) with glad tidings. They said: Salâm (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salâm (greetings or peace!) and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.
  2. But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: “Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lout (Lot).”
  3. And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed (either, because the Messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lout (Lot). But We gave her glad tidings of Ishâque (Isaac), and after him, of Ya’qûb (Jacob).
  4. She said (in astonishment): “Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!”
  5. They said: “Do you wonder at the Decree of Allâh? The Mercy of Allâh and His Blessings be on you, O the family [of Ibrahîm (Abraham)]. Surely, He (Allâh) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious.”
  6. Then when the fear had gone away from (the mind of) Ibrahîm (Abraham), and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead with Us (Our Messengers) for the people of Lout (Lot).
  7. Verily, Ibrahîm (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allâh with humility, and was repentant (to Allâh all the time, again and again).
  8. “O Ibrahîm (Abraham)! Forsake this. Indeed, the Commandment of your Lord has gone forth. Verily, there will come a torment for them which cannot be turned back.”

**a slave of God Re: Allah is Above what you think and imagine **

I’ve noticed you** do NOT **answer the replies on the thread, except only the ones you wish.

You quote your unholy book when it suits you.

You quote **OUR HOLY BOOK **when it suits you but never stick around for answers…

You and another troll here. You remind me of user: osmo… another troll who obviously keeps coming back only to be banned…

Pretty soon, our forum members will not entrertain you and your hog-wash…

If you are here to debate well then, God Bless and hang around… but you seem to be here to drop your nonsence and run… It’s a muslim thing, I already know…!!!

Like Joan Rivers would say… “Let’s talk”…!!

**
What do you mean by begotten? I have a feeling you misunderstand the Christian belief just like your prophet in fact did.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.**
  1. Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allâh, (the) One and Only.
    2(…)
  2. "He begets not, nor was He begotten;
Grace, by Begotten, he means not born. That is to say God doesn’t father children, and He is not fathered, He exists but not from non-existence, whereas your god was non-existent (in flesh) before being born to Mary.
My standard is Christ. I know I am a mere creature and sinner, so your words do not disappoint me. I point to Christ Jesus alone. You cannot read about Him that He did anything violent or selfish or mean to anyone while he walked in Gallelee and Jerusalem. Him I follow because He alone is good, and He alone is trustworthy.

That’s a beautiful statement, indeed Jesus is an extraordinary man, I also love him for his goodness, humbleness, kindness, loving and forgiving nature. We don’t deny any of this, what we dispute is the Christian claim that he is god.
You can’t just say that Jesus was nice humble man who did many nice great things. This is false dichotomy. What you can say is one of these three things: one, that He was crazy, two, a liar, three, correct and that is really God speaking in the flesh. No one is misquoting Jesus for He said this Himself, "I AM."
