Allah, the moon god

I have always wondered about how did Allah the moon god become the God of Abraham? Is this a plan from Satan? Or is this just a misunderstanding? This actually puts fear into my heart (that is if this a plan from Satan) how successful it was/is.

Allah was never the God of Abraham. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is called Yahweh.

I do agree , but how do some people in history obviously come to this conclusion? Obviously Muslims only did. Is this all a successful plan from satan? Muhammad only was the author to this deceit? Or is there an other truth?
