Yes indeed. And while Buddhism did indeed spring from Hinduusm, Judaism and Christianity came much later than both.

It’s all part of Gods progressive revelation 🙂

.
Is there something they need to be advised about?

MJ

Yes, Reuben, it was a mind blower and I could not somehow agree with the concept that Muhammed drew on Judaism and Christianity to develop the Quoran, and likewise I also am sharing a sense that he did not write it. He was too much a conqueror.

Likewise when they make claims of Christ not crucified, it is equal in simple statement to our belief that Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead.

Furthermore, the most ancient name of Allah was the devil. And not all Muslims venerate the black stone equally in Mecca. I am reading outside sources the history of the Saud family going back to the 1700’s and adapted the Wahhabi interpretation of their sacred book. And that the Shi ites would readily destroy Saudi sacred sites.

So I find Islam based essentially on domination and physical might. All the contrary interpretations still are based on totalitarian domination of others, and the other – one could lose one’s life for leaving Islam.

You may have to consider that God is Just and will give you what your heart is after.

If one looks for Disunity in God one will find it, could post many a site also telling you why a Christain became a Muslim. Why would one do this and what point was made.

Unity is the Key, the oneness of God is a key. Love for all is not practiced when one looks for Fault. That is how I look at the Bible.

It was an incredible witness by this man to Christians, that even the Quoran upholds Christ as the Living Word.

Does yours?

I respectfully disagree. God is indeed just but He does not give you what your heart is after. He grants you what you need. Humans, with their defective hearts and minds, want many things and not all are good for us. God knows what is best and grants us this so that we can be made holy and enter heaven.

This is the Great Gift of God, our free will, thus God invites us all to search and find, this journey not easy as self is our biggest downfall.

What we have not considered is how far self is now entwined with things of this world and materialism. The bible and many scriptures of the past of the presence have warned us.

God, Allah or by Any Name God has Given us, calls us above ourselves.

God Bless and Regards Tony

808Catholic - As you have the right to do 👍 God is Just and it does take somewhat of an effort on our part to play a roll in Salvation, this effort would explain why all have not excepted Christianity. God tests are for our benefit and it is our free will to change the direction of our heart.

If Muhammad and the Koran are indeed from God, then one would have to consider this quite deeply, would you agree?

I have found this Prayer by the Bab and interesting Meditation on this aspect of Faith, note the end of the Prayer, I have put in Bold a couple of thoughts from this prayer;

"Vouchsafe unto me, O my God, the full measure of Thy love and Thy good-pleasure, and through the attractions of Thy resplendent light enrapture our hearts, O Thou Who art the Supreme Evidence and the All-Glorified. Send down upon me, as a token of Thy grace, Thy vitalizing breezes, throughout the daytime and in the night season, O Lord of bounty. No deed have I done, O my God, to merit beholding Thy face, and I know of a certainty that were I to live as long as the world lasts I would fail to accomplish any deed such as to deserve this favor, inasmuch as the station of a servant shall ever fall short of access to Thy holy precincts,** unless Thy bounty should reach me and Thy tender mercy pervade me and Thy loving-kindness encompass me**.
All praise be unto Thee, O Thou besides Whom there is none other God. Graciously enable me to ascend unto Thee, to be granted the honor of dwelling in Thy nearness and to have communion with Thee alone. No God is there but Thee.
Indeed shouldst Thou desire to confer blessing upon a servant Thou wouldst blot out from the realm of his heart every mention or disposition except Thine Own mention; and shouldst Thou ordain evil for a servant by reason of that which his hands have unjustly wrought before Thy face, Thou wouldst test him with the benefits of this world and of the next that he might become preoccupied therewith and forget Thy remembrance.

To me this shows errors of the past, that God tests our waywardness, this is free will after all.

Bible passage - Matthew 19:24"Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Koran Passage - “Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is the help of Allah?’ Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.” [Qur’an, 2:214]

and

“And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.” [Qur’an, 22:11]

From Baha’u’llah - “O SON OF BEING! Busy not thyself with this world, for with fire We test the gold, and with gold We test Our servants”.

How do you know The New Testament verse you state from St Matthew is true?

“Rejected were the messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those messengers,” (6:34).

“The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all,” (6:115).

“For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity,” (10:64).

I can’t find "Church " in the above quotes.

MJ

Just looking at the Catholic Catechism, the word ‘church’ alone comprises of several pages of small print…but they all connect to one Church.

How could a paper document by the Church being a creation be Allah’s Word? It cannot speak on its own.

MJ
Because a 100% authentic Revelation of Baha’u’llah said so 🙂

The authentic Word of God for today…

  1. “The word of the lord abides for ever.” This word is the Gospel which was preached to you” (1 Pet 1:25; cf. Is 40:8). With this assertion from the First Letter of Saint Peter, which takes up the words of the Prophet Isaiah, we find ourselves before the mystery of God, who has made himself known through the gift of his word. This word, which abides for ever, entered into time. God spoke his eternal Word humanly; his Word “became flesh” (Jn 1:14). This is the good news. This is the proclamation which has come down the centuries to us today - Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

God doesn’t give good news for 198,000 years to humans, and then decides to stop giving good news.

That then becomes bad news 😃

No one said God stopped anything. The Word was from the beginning. 🙂

The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for" (CCC 27).
