that’s another problem as there was no prophet ever who claimed that his words are from God because no one could bring something like it…it’s just absurd…add to it that by the time Muhammad had about 10 thousand wariers, Musaylima, another self-proclaimed prophet fought by Muhammad, he had 40000 wariors, that is, 4 times the number of Muhammad’s followers, his own laws and Quran and many people after the death of Muhammad followed Musaylama so it seems Musaylama’s Quran met Muhammad’s challenge…Muslims must wake up to such ridiculous challenges that do not fit God’s wisdom.
.

Well yes Musaylama (known to his followers and others as the merciful -rahman- of Yamama from Bani hanifah tribe) was killed ( tribal and power supremacy you know) but the point is, the man and his Quran had much more followers than Muhammad, and was known before Muhammad (people knew about him before Muhammad proclaimed himself a prophet with the blessing of the Quraishite noble figures like Waraqa ben Nawfal), and many verses of his Quran bare great resemblance to Muhammad’s Quran in words and meter and “eloquence” and had thousands of followers, even more than Muhammad, among them followers of Muhammad who followed him after Muhammad’s death so it seems a great deal of Arabs who were used to eloquent poetry and language were not fooled by Muhammad’s challenge nor were they 'amazed" by his “divine syntax” yet Muslims ignorantly will tell you that absolutely no man met the challenge and all Arabs were “amazed” by it so the Quran is from Allah and they go sleep peacefully…if they just realize what rubbish they are being fed.

PS: not sure if Musaylama made Allah swear by horses too.

But I still do not understand than How can Allah pray to himself:confused: .And later I have asked some clerics and they informed me that Allah can do everything,so it is OK if allah prays to himself.Anyway my friend sam, have you any Idea about that story? Is it supported by Authentic Hadith or just a story?
Its a hadith not a story:

17612: Muhammed asked Gabriel does your lord pray, Gabriel answered yes, then Muhammed asked how he prays?, Gabriel said “praise, glorious, my mercy outrun my anger”, narrated by Altabarani.

Muslim posters said with sarcasm that Jesus prayed to himself alluding to our belief that he is divine.

But from this hadith their Allah actually did the same.

At least when Jesus prayed he was human in human form, but Allah? Did Allah have two faces about him? Or could it be Mohammad who said this forgetting that he was supposed to speak as Allah? Maybe it was a slip of tongue or in one of his trances that he confused his role whether as Allah or as Mohammad.

Very good:) ,so it is a hadith that Allah prays(to himself).:clapping: .It is really irritating. So Muslims, can you answer that why allah prays to himself?
PS.
Sister Amy or others please try to answer.I do not expect answer from planten because he does not believe in lots of Hadiths.😉

Here is a Muslim answer to the question of Allah’s prayers:
answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/allahs_salat.htm
i quote from the above link:

“doesn’t Salah mean praying? Yes, it does, however so, when the term is applied to God the term does not mean prayer rather it means sending mercy and praising, when the term is applied on a normal human, it refers to prayer, but not when refered to Allah”.

Talk about burying their hand in the sand by creating illogical theories. It is like saying Allah failed miserably in his choice of words in the best literary “masterpiece” and Muslims must explain using better terms.

Yep. He also made the mistake of making oaths to other things.

If cleirics said that prayer, in and of itself, was different for man and for Allah, and not that the meaning of Salah (Prayer) was different, they wouldn’t be in the pickle they’re in.

Of course, they’d also have to redefine prayer in Islamic theology for Allah to pray, because prayer means communicating with Allah and it is said to stop believers from doing wrong. Perhaps, in Islamic theology, Allah prays to stop himself from killing people? Who knows 🤷

Another way clerics would help themselves is by giving a different term to Allah’s prayer. Of course, I’m sure that’d confuse some people, since there is only one way of praying in Islam (it seems).

in Kitab Al Sunna by Abdullah bin Ahmad, vol.1, p.272:

when Muhammad reached the 7th heaven during the Isra and Mi’raj, he encountered Gabriel, who immediately said “Shh! Wait, for Allah is praying (Sala).” Muhammad asked: “Does Allah pray?” to which Gabriel said, “Yes, he prays.” Muhammad then asked, “What does he pray?” and Gabriel said “Praise! Praise the Lord!”
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry can’t help it but this is incredibly funny.

We have a glimpse of heaven in Rev but God did not pray there. He was merely receiving the worship given to him by all the angels and saints. So it strikes me as mightily funny that God prays and praises Himself.

You see, in Muslims mentality everything they do must have been done by Mohammad or Allah themselves. Does not matter if it has gone overboard in this case, Muslims pray because Allah prayed, because Mohammad prayed. They forget for one momment that it is to Allah that they should pray to.

And why is the prayer void if Muhammad is not mentioned? That seems really odd. It would be God saying I will only listen to your prayer if you mention my messenger. ??? That seems to put undue importance on a man.

The prayer is not void.

not exactly my reaction when i read about Allah swearing by horses and their hooves. What about Allah swearing by donkeys? does that seem to you the oath of God almighty or is the Bible corrupt because it says God only swears by Himself because no one is greater?
