Alleluia

I am being forced to sing at a protestant church next Sunday by my parents, and the song has alleluia in it. Does that go against the no alleluia rule? As a matter of fact, what is the rule specifically? Is it just at Mass?

My understanding is that the “rule” is only for public Catholic liturgies…

It’s not like Alleluia is a swear word or anything during Lent it’s just that we have a different focus
