Allstate Employee Fired for Views on Homosexuality Settles Out of Court
By Terry Vanderheyden
CHICAGO, February 23, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – An employee of the Allstate insurance company, fired from his job for comments that appeared in a men’s journal denouncing same-sex “marriage” in December 2004 (see coverage: lifesite.net/ldn/2005/jun/05062403.html)), has settled out of court.
J. Matt Barber was fired last February after his commentary on same-sex “marriage” appeared in the on line journal MensNewsDaily.com, even though the statement was penned in his own spare time and from home. A homosexual activist group had complained to Allstate after reading the article and noticing that Barber’s bio mentioned that he was an employee there. Barber said the magazine added the bio information without his knowledge.

From article

Allstate is a financial donor to homosexual-advocacy groups, including the LAMBDA Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation
.
**Allstate should research through their insurance claims/cases to find out how much money they are spending each year on diseases and health related problems that come as a result of homosexual activity. **

I believe when it comes to Life Insurance, insurance companies can charge higher premiums for smokers or obese people. I bet they’re not charging higher premiums to homosexuals who regularly practice sodomy with different sex partners. That would be discrimination.

I’m a year away from graduating college and hopefully starting a career as an actuary. Thanks for the tip on Allstate. I’ll remember this post when I go job hunting.
