I’ve been doing a lot of reading up on it. Catholic Culture has an overview and the Easter Vigil sounds so reverent and so beautiful. The next 30-something hours can’t go fast enough!
My mother says she wants to go, but her health problems won’t let her. I’m sad, yes, but I understand. I hope she changes her mind, but I’ll understand why she doesn’t want to go.
And it’s a shame Fr. Terry won’t be there. He’s still recuperating from neck surgery. I’m told he had two vertebrae fused and is under orders to stay home.
