Jesus, Lover of chastity,

and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin,
I ask you at this hour, to plead with God
for all those suffering from addiction
to pornography. I pray that they earnestly
wish to be pure in thought, word, and deed
in imitation of Your own holy purity.
Obtain for them, then, a deep sense of modesty
which will be reflected in their external conduct.
Protect their eyes, the windows of the soul,
from anything that might dim the luster of the heart,
which must mirror only Christlike purity.
And when the “Bread of Angels” becomes
the “Bread of Me” in their hearts at Holy
Communion, seal them forever against
the suggestions of sinful pleasures.
Heart of Jesus, Fount of All Purity,
