Alone and tired of it. No ranting I promise

Chevalier, I get your point about what we see (or think we see) at church, our focus is on Christ, but at times, he shows us other things, in the hopes thatit helps us heal grow and love just a little bit better. Sometimes it is the praying child, sometimes loving family sometimes the outward sign of inner beauty that we are all called to. At times, It hurts to see what is missing, other times it is a glow of what is to come.

RRP, I hope you weren’t adding your taxes last night, too! I have 7 kids and who ever joins this family faces 7 females, Me, plus 7 children, minus 7 “girls” equals 1 BOY. He is 5, and all boy!

He can’t handle flowers in his spoon! Yup, there is such a thing as boy spoons and girl spoons! As for how I feel about age, I don’t need a daddy to take care of me, and I don’t need another son to raise! It is not so much a number but a maturity.

Eucharisted, We visit Jesus at the tabernacle, in my living room, in the yard, at the nursing home, but sometimes, we all need “Jesus with skin on”.

What I miss most, are the hugs at the end of the day that say, it wasn’t perfect but we did the best we could. That is all Jesus asks of us.

Yes still single here and boy it would be nice just once to have a another opinion to knock ideas against, a friendly hug now and then, a body to come to, someone to go out with, someone to plan with or just somebody to talk to.

It must be hell for someone who wants to be married not to be. I can only understand it by imagining being in the opposite situation to what I want - ie living with others.

Sometimes we need to cultivate other relationships to give us what we need whether it is a sounding board or a hug and hopefully do the same to them when they need it.

Think it must be awful to be in marriage where communication is lacking or non-existent.
