It’s a little off topic, but who here hates Copeland besides me? Seems some people think I’m crazy when I say that, but I really just don’t like his music. It’s boring. It’s dull.

No, I used to listen to them all the time in college! I guess it was a phase that I got out of the habit of doing.

Nope, I listen to Messiah all year round too and Israel in Egypt. I think Israel in Egypt is a better oratoria then Messiah. Israel in Egypt has beautiful arias and duets, the chorus also has a more prominent role then in Messiah (or any of his oratoris at that matter). I’m listening to Vivaldi’s Oboe sonata F right now.
