Leslie the gracious Mother of Luke and loving wife to Lloyd has been diagnosed with ALS, or “Lou Gehrig’s” disease. It has seemed to be very progressive at this point. She and her husband are nurses and have chosen to forgo feeding or life support. The child now knows she is terminal. Very young, Mom of 10 year old little boy, please pray for this family.

Father you know where my heart is, I do trust You, I know that there is an infinite sum of things I haven’t the ability to even grasp. I just ask for Your peace to continue to surround this family, for your gracious love to surround them with the mercies that are there for them right now. Continue to support them and guide them, strengthen them on this path.

Praying very hard for Leslie. I have a friend, Bob A, who is dying from this disease also. This once vibrant, bright and gregarious man is now suffering mightily and it breaks my heart. It has been very hard on his wife also. Praying for all who suffer from this dread disease.
 
O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.
