Sally is an atheist. She was one of two freshman year roommates at Harvard. The other I loved instantly. for Sally, sad, to say, I felt the opposite. Her father knew mine. I had a dispute with my father.

Help me to forgive her for all that she did to me. And to disentagle that connection in my life. I cannot bring myself to pray for her. Tyler was her husband. he went high up in the world of science and medicine. He rejected me when I had problems, I guess he had better things to do with his life than worry about me.

Please help me undo this deleterious connection in my life, which has plagued me ever since, and, although, as I said, I cannot bring myself to pray for her, please pray for her conversion and for relief from whatever stresses in her life caused her to treat me as she did.

:blessyou:

this person has “had” my “head” ever since college, got me in trouble with my family for calling her up after my son was born, well, she had written me in California after I was married, I did not reply because things were too desperate, she considers me dangerous, I consider her more so.

Please pray, as she is fighting with me in my head right now, she became a psychologist and knows how, Jesus help.

Last I heard she had relocated to Australia with husband # 3 and had had two daughters.

Pathological. Pleae also pray for the women she has treaated in her practice of psychotherapy.

Her father was dean of engineering at a major univerity in California and hence “boss” of my father, an electronic engineer.

Maybe this is the book I need to write to free my soul, she is still fighting with me…to find my vocation, or sort out my confusion over what it’s been, or whether it was lost, I know that at the time, senior year, when I was being forcibly dismissed from school for 6 mos due to a nervous breakdown, I had extreme animosity toward her, we stayed roommates, she needed someone to be under her shadow is how I put it, the conflict with her was non stop and yet everybody viewed us as best friends, I got so screwed up in my head.

there was another roommate, like I said, it would take a book

tyler came over to see ME, freshman week, and I wasn’t there, and she took him over. His parents liked me.

At the same time, I didn’t know the first thing about university, even what a course catalog was, I fled to that place to get away from home, not a good place to run away to

Praying for you to be forgiving…

“Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 15:12)

Help lynnehelen, Jesus, that what she asks of You (Mercy) she will give to others in word and deed.

Help her, O Lord, that her eyes may be merciful, so that she may never suspect or judge others, but always look for what is beautiful and good in other people.

Help her, that her ears may be merciful, so that she may give heed to others needs, and not be indifferent to their pain.

Help her, O Lord, that her tongue may be merciful, so that she should never speak wrongly of others, but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for all.

Help her, O Lord, that her hands may be merciful and filled with good deeds so that she may do only good to others and always try to take upon herself the more difficult tasks.

Help her, O Lord, that her feet may be merciful, so that she may hurry to assist others, overcoming her own fatigue and weariness, contemplating Your love and mercy.

Help her O Lord, to forgive and forget. This is Your greatest gift to her, and should be hers for Your sake, to all who offend her.

I am also praying that you will be able to discern God’s will concerning Sally’s and your relationship:

Divine Mercy Guide Me

Eternal God, Goodness itself, whose Mercy is incomprehensible to every intellect, whether human or angelic, help lynnehelen, Your feeble child, to do Your holy will as You make it known to her. She desires nothing but to fulfill Your desires. Lord, here is her soul and her body, her mind and her will, her heart and all her love. Direct her according to Your eternal plan. Amen.

Lord God, I pray for Sally and Tyler. May they be touched by Your mercy and kindness so that in all that they do, they shall bring glory to You. Bless our friend lynnehelen as well so that she may move on from the hurt she experienced in her relationship with them. AMEN

Mother Mary, I commend Sally and Tyler to you. Please help them to convert and be saved. Also, please help lynnehelen to forgive them. May lynnehelen forgive as you and your Son forgave and say: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Amen.
