Altar Girls

I was reading an old article from this rock magazine about altar girls, back in the early 90s when the controversy over it began.

What is the church’s postion over altar girls today? Has the Vatican okayed it, or is it one of those things that everyone looks the other way.

The Vatican has approved the use of females as Altar Servers. However, it is at the disgression of the local Bishop whether Parishes are able to use them.

I have no problem with it so long as none of the girls have impossible ambitions.

Women waited on our Lord as he ministered, why can’t girls assist those acting in the Lord’s person?
