Greetings,
Are any of you wondering why we put so much blood, sweat, tears, and faith in those little pieces of green paper with the images of (often dead) leaders? I’m sure most of you are aware that, once upon a time, our “money” was backed by gold or silver or something more slippery like the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or other ephemeral word-smithing by the gurus of economics. How about a currency backed by time? You know, hours, or fractions of hours. Everybody gets only 24 of them per day. Even Bill Gates or Oprah Winfrey. But I’m sure that there is something you can do in one hour that will take me several to do, and vice versa. So the need for commerce is right there. By using a currency based on time (hours) we are more respectful of each other’s labor, whether it’s local, domestic, or foreign. I’m looking forward to your solution-oriented responses.
Thanks for your time, consideration, and may the Lord richly bless you and yours with heaven’s best!. Mister_D

It would mean efficiency goes out the window, you would be paid more for taking longer, not for producing better and more product/service per hour. Just a quick thought i suppose.
