I recommend to my friends not to donate to Susan G. Komen because they fund abortions.

What is a good alternative charity that is “Catholic-approved?”

You may try to look into National Breast Cancer Foundation. I believe they provide mammograms for women. Also check out the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute

My favorite charities that I donate to don’t deal with breast cancer but are worthwile charities:

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month as well as The Month of the Rosary, we are seeing a lot of marketing for pink ribbon products and campaigns. Let your friends know about Susan G Komen! If you’re on facebook there is also a group there called Think Twice About Susan G Komen which gives info about other charities that don’t fund abortion or hide the truth.

Maybe we should pray some rosaries for awareness of the truth behind the abortion-breast cancer link, Susan G Komen giving grants to Planned Parenthood, and actual caring about women’s health even more than profit!

Please keep this thread alive so more people will see it and keep spreading the truth!
