I’d take that over “Which law of physics shall I attempt to defy today?” 😆

I’d probably drive my poor pastor to insanity with all of my questions. I think I get pretty close to doing so already with the frequency of my confessions.

Of course the best place to get answers to your question is to be open to where God will feed you best.

Usually this consists in books to read and also attending classes on Church issues.

That being said, an annual retreat is a place where my spiritual batteries get recharged, and also, I can have confession and a talk with the attending Retreat Master.

I hear people say this (very) often, both here and in real life.

Men who answer God’s call may not always know exactly what they have said yes to…in the beginning. By the end of their seminary education, however, they certainly do. Hearing confessions and answering questions about the faith is part of their vocation. Rather than drive them crazy, it brings them joy. Don’t be afraid to approach the priests! If someone is confessing too often (in the case of a scrupulous soul, for example), the priest will tell him - not to scold or shame him, but to help him be the best Christian he can be. If a priest has not told you to reduce the frequency of your confessions, you’re doing just fine.

What dismays priests are people who do not take their faith seriously. No priest I know, and I know a lot of priests, would turn away anyone sincerely seeking to draw closer to the Lord. Be at peace, and ask your questions without hesitation. Your priest is waiting for your inquiries. God bless!
