Alternative to Confession

Just a note, when I left confession, there was a line waiting for their turn! LOL. Even if it was not official confession time! People around here must be desperate, and when they saw me go in, they must have thought, “Oh! Today’s the day!” LOL. Poor priest.

Did he hear their Confessions, too?

What do you do when the universe aligns and refuses to allow you confession?

This has happened many times in my life already, I guess the area I am in just does not have enough priests. I have been told several times to come back another day as they are too busy.

A lot of times, the church is closed during “official” confession times. Argh!

This is getting frustrating….is there an alternative? I don’t know, on-line confession or something? LOL.

If this goes on any longer, I will forget my sins!

Any ideas?

Make a Literally PERFECT act of Contrition

This means all of the following

1. TRUE sorrow for all your sins
2. A FIRM {serious} intention and COMMITMENT not to sin this way again {WITH Gods grace}

3**. Because you Love GOD MORE YOU fear the “loss of heaven and the pains of Hell”**

1. With a real {actionable} intention to GET to Sacramental Confession as soon as it is POSSIBLE {note I did not say convenient.}

Such will hols you guiltless UNTIL you can get to Sacramental Confession
