Am I allowed to tell God how I feel or will it bring His wrath down on me?

What is this wrath you think he will bring down? Where are you getting that from?
A wonderful point that we would all do well to constantly keep in our minds/hearts. “Wrathful” is not an attribute of God. It is not, in any way, a part of His character. You will find no doctors of the church who teach that God is mutable and/or reacts with wrath toward His people.

Rather, we hear Jesus speak of God as Abba (father). St John says in multiple places that God is love. Jesus’ mission on Earth was not to save us from God’s wrath. Such a view of things is deeply twisted. Jesus and the Father are one. Their mission is the same—to save humanity from the fallen world, to save us from ourselves, as it were. The Father will never be your enemy, and it is quite impossible that He would react wrathfully.

It seems you may need to reimagine this God you serve. The wrathful, judgey divinity isn’t going to work. That’s not a god worth serving.

He actually promises us that we will suffer. He also promises to be with us and give us a peace that passes all understanding so we can rejoice in our suffering.

This is only my personal experience, but years ago I went through a very dark time, both mentally and spiritually. Among many other things, I was very angry with God. Like you, I was afraid of offending Him, but finally something had to give. I poured out everything that was in me, yelling, screaming, pounding walls in rage. When I was done, I still feared God’s wrath, so I asked Him for forgiveness. I suddenly felt that God was telling me that it was all right, more than all right. That God already knows exactly how I feel, better than I do myself. That God loves us so infinitely much he wants all of us, so even if anger is all we have to give, we need to offer that up, and that God will bless it. There was more, but that is all I can express in words. Don’t worry about your feelings. Put yourself in God’s hands, know that even when you don’t feel it, God loves you beyond all we can understand.
