Am I asking for too much?

I’ve always been taught not to care too much about personal belongings and that family and faith can get anyone through anything. I still believe this, but my family may be losing our house soon, and I wonder if it is selfish to pray that we might keep it?

A house is a necessity and not a luxury. Of course, it is appropriate to pray that you are able to keep it. You are in our prayers.
