I didn’t realize just how progressive our new pope is and that he supported same-sex unions in Argentina a few years back and has also hinted that priestly celibacy is merely a discipline and can always be changed.
Um, in all Christian chrarity, did you just come back from a trip? And I don’t mean the vacation kind. What you said borders on libel. And it is disgusting. If you were my kid, I would make you wash your mouth out with soup!

all in one group that do not equate.
So your contention is that all gap people will behave in the same way (they will all be depressed, drug-takers and commit suicide - as that was what you were afraid of it seemed)? Stand back a little and I think you’ll see you are working with stereotypes in the same way I could say I won’t trust you with a child because you are American and Americans, as a group, are prone to gun crime.

I think we can be more discerning than that - if you’re worried about adoptive parents being depressed (as that was in your list) then there are much better predictors than asking if they are attracted to people of the same sex. Looking at their medical history will be much more informative, for example. If you are worried they take drugs then there are pretty good tests for common drug use.

Apolojez,

What you are saying is that your empirical experience is in contrast to a rational experience. There has always been a dichotomy of the two and although empiricism has its place it does not equate to the world experience and only means what it means to you that does not equate to anything other than that.
Then can I relate my experience? My husband come from a a family of three boys. The youngest, from the earliest of age, presented as a challenge to parent. He was an attention seeker, hung with questionable crowds, and stared using drugs and alcohol underage. Until my husband left for college he lived to make his life a living Hades. He came out as SSA some time in college, continues to drink and do drugs, supports the militant agenda and hates the Catholic Church. My husband thinks he is one of the most immoral, immature and depressed people he has met.

You can always find the exception that proves that rule. I think y story is much more the rule. In God’s love, I pray for all those with SSA that they find Jesus’ love and unite their love with His on the Cross.
