I am a Catechumen who will be baptized at the upcoming Easter Vigil. I currently live with my father (who is not Catholic) who cohabits with a woman he is not married to. I am an adult, but moving out is not financially possible at the moment.

So given the situation, is it OK for me to keep living with my father until I am able to get on my own two feet, or is this just an excuse for avoiding having to choose homelessness over committing scandal?

Your father’s sin is not your sin. You’re doing what you can to move out so I fail to see how this situation could be considered a scandal.

No,

Plenty of people get stuck with incompatible roommates in college, or cellmates in prison, and nobody accuses them of anything by it.

You are not committing any sin, certainly not scandal.
