Hi! I just became Catholic last year, and just realized that we believe one must be baptized in order to be saved. I consider my father a Protestant, but he doesn’t believe he needs to be baptized in order to be saved. Am I obligated to tell him his soul is in danger if he doesn’t get baptized? I fear this may lead to an argument. Thanks.

There’s an old expression: you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

You won’t be able to “talk him into” baptism. What you can do is always be able to explain and defend your faith (1 Peter 3:15). Through your living example of the true faith you will be a living argument in favor of the faith. And, of course, pray for him.
