Am I pestering Mary?

I’ve been struggling with a bad marriage for many years and things took a turn for the worse earlier this year. I turned to the Lord with my whole heart and have been praying much more.

I have been praying 54-day novenas. As you know, the first 27 days you petition for help. During the next 27 days, we thank Her for answering our prayer and granting our petition.

I feel like I’m pestering Her. If I already thanked her, then I start another 54-day novena to ask for the same thing–since we are still wrestling with the same problems–am I?
 
No, you can pray to Mary as often as you want. There have been days where I said 8+ rosaries. And today I probably did Hail Marys for an hour straight. Sometimes you have to start again because Satan drags on the trial and God allows it.
 
Our Lady is very kind. She has a lot of compassion on us. Don’t worry 🙂
 
There is no “pestering”. I commend your devotion to the Mary through the rosary. Be aware however, that these prayers are not “magic”. Your prayer will be answered if it is the will of God, and pleasing to God, edifying for your soul.
Please don’t think that if you don’t get the result you want when you want it that you somehow didn’t pray hard enough. you did it wrong, or that Our Lady has abandoned you.
Keep praying yes, but understand that God may have something special in mind for you that you have not thought of yet.
For now, be at peace. I, (and I’m sure many others who read this) will also remember your special intention in our prayers.

Do you remember the parable of the unjust judge, who granted the poor little widow her petition because she was such a pain in the neck? (Luke 18:1-7)

Do you remember the parable of the friend who knocked on the man’s door at night, pleading for bread to serve his unexpected guests, and how the man finally got up and gave him his dang ol’ bread, just to stop all that knocking? (Luke 11:5-10)

Do you remember the moral of Jesus’ stories?

“If the unjust judge said this, don’t you think that God will give justice to His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night?”

“Ask and it shall be given you. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.”

The Virgin Mary is happy with persistence. She is pleased that people say Rosaries and think about the Gospels.

Bug the heck out of God and His saints. It’s Biblical!

Please have in mind that one of the MANY hobbies of the fallen angels is to destroy and break marriages, AND to deceive you into thinking that you are pestering Mary so you stop praying, of course. They hate it when you turn out to God. See it with those eyes, see souls, and don’t give up, don’t give them the pleasure. Your prayers will be answered in one way or another according to God’s Will. You might not get exactly what you want, but He will lead the way, and you must follow with Him.
 
Mary appreciates your devotion. You may pray as much as you want as long as it comes from the heart. Do some listening, too.
