I’ve invited a lot of non-Catholics to this forum for a few months now. Some times I just feel like it’s the best way for them to find answers.

Well I’ve just been thinking that maybe it’s not so liked on here, so I just wanted to see.
 
We welcome all to these forums, just as the Catholic Church welcomes all to attend their Masses (although only Catholics can take part in the Sacraments)

If the Church is cool with letting people attend their Masses, I’m pretty sure it’s cool to invite people to a Catholic internet forum.
 
I showed up here a year ago from a link and been following a thread on the end times…I never ran into Catholics that are sorta like us end times fundies.They have some prophetic additions to the scriptures but we all look for the same end…Nice to have fellowship as brothers and sisters in Christ…May the Lord Bless you…

I think it all depends upon why you invited people, and how you treat the non-Catholics once you get them here. Let’s be honest: non-Catholics often get a very chilly reception.

Somebody once told me that the hostility on other sites was a lot worse and when I checked it out I kinda felt that was true.

Oh, some of them are a LOT worse…but if you are going to go the comparitive route, it’s a little like calling a shoplifter good because a bankrobber is worse. 😉

I do MUCH prefer CAF to, say…alt.religion.mormon or alt.religion.christian.roman.catholic. Now if you want a nasty place, THAT one…whew! Everything you never wanted to know about Catholicism because it’s all salacious, inflamatory, defamatory and untrue.
