Am I sinning by not working?

I am autistic, so I don’t work. I spend most of my time here and on other Christian forums, plus I read Bible and Bible commentaries. Don’t go out much, not many friends, not many activities aside from playing music, painting. I watch one hour of tv every week.

This is a typical day for me - forums, commentaries, music, one hour of tv every week.

If your autism is severe enough that it prevents you from maintaining employment, I don’t see where you are doing anything wrong. How well are you able to handle social situations?

None of us can answer that about your specific situation. We don’t know how severe your autism is and what we don’t know all the efforts have been made by all connected with you to help to deal with it.
There are people who have successful working lives working from home, or in some way in the workforce but we can’t answer your question, only people who closely know your situation including any counselor you might have. I found one site that speaks of guidelines for work for those with autism, and lists of some successful people with autism who could be inspiring, but that is their stories not yours. Everyone is different.
Autism has a wide spectrum, and no one here in the Forum can assess yours.

I believe sloth is a sin.

So if, during your daily activities, whatever they may be, you find that you have to put effort into making your life the best it can be - then you are not sinning.

However, if your life is solely dedicated to relaxing and entertaining yourself, and you write off any responsibility to the community because of this syndrome, then perhaps you aught to take a second look and see if you are truly capable of giving more.

Charitable works are a part of the faith. You don’t necessarily have to be earning a paycheck, but you could volunteer to help out at the Church or look for other meaningful deeds you could do that you are capable of, and comfortable with.

Doing things for others makes you feel good about yourself. It brings satisfaction to your life, satisfaction to others, and it pleases God. So if you feel you can do more, then you should try.
