I was baptized Catholic, did my first comunion and confession, parents got divorced and I have not been in the catholic church for a long time. Am I still a catholic and can I start attending church again?
Yep, you’re still a Catholic, alright! If you go to Confession you may start receiving Holy Communion again. You will need to attend Sunday Mass every Sunday unless you are ill or for some other reason are unable to attend.
You will also need to see the priest about taking classes so that you can be Confirmed.
