Hello everyone!
I just went to confession a couple hours ago and confessed a mortal sin. I confessed the kind and number because that’s how I learned to confess mortal sins.
Anyways, after I confessed the mortal sin I said, “I did not understand how grave my terrible actions were.” What I meant was I knew that it was against our faith and that I could go to hell, but did not realize:
That I could not recieve Communion, I badly hurt my relationship with God, and that it was a very serious matter. Am I forgiven even though I said that I did not realize how grave my actions were but knew it was against our faith and that I could go to hell?
Hope this makes some sense.
