Hi,

I was baptised Catholic as an infant and raised going to Sunday School. Somewhere in the later teenage years and twenties I lost touch with my religion. We ended up having a child out of wedlock and then were married shortly after our beautiful daughter was born.

I was scared off of going back to church not knowing if I would be recieved after what happened. Now that my daughters are getting older (we had another after we were married) I see that this is missing from their upbringing.

Will I be able to have them baptised in the Catholic Church?

Hi,

I get the impression that you were married outside of the Catholic Church. If so, you will need to see your priest about getting this rectified. It should be an easy matter so long as neither of have been married previously and divorced. As long as the priest sees that you are trying to live your Catholic faith, you should have no difficulty in having your child baptized.
