Am I wrong with sacramentals

i have a blessed cross to hang of my neck. So i stopped bearing the cross because I thought it will avoid me problems and protect me agaisnt rage or anger.

Now im a real state agent, so Im rethinking that the cross maybe protect me of the anger of my boss and neighbors that i did not anything to earn it. And. Moreover that the blesses obejct will give me grace before customers.

What should i do?

Do you live in a country where wearing a religious item is not acceptable?
