It looks like this thread did not turn out to be how it seems to have been on Amazon. Heated discussions don’t usually go well here in general. This is probably why very few people post to this thread. When the people’s brain explodes you can get flags and be banned if you are too aggressive against the other side or someone thinks that you are.
Amazon is turning into an online industry. I am not surprised that they no longer what to share their virtual space (aka computer memory) on forums that aren’t about buying or selling stuff from/to them.

Hi Mary -

Are you the same Mary who posted at Amazon, sometimes as “Jig”? I do kind of doubt it, but was just wondering…

This thread is definitely NOT how they were there. The forums there were supposed to be about the products, but many did instead turn into heated arguments that went on for years.

CAF definitely would not put up with half the stuff that was posted over there. Which is a good thing - although imo it is too bad that grown adults have to be moderated for unacceptable content. You’d think we’d know better.

No I am not that Mary and I didn’t even know they had forums lol. Last thing I bought from them was Cardinal Sarah’s book “The Power of Silence”. So it was funny to have found out here that people discussed Christian books on the seller’s site.
Your posts about today’s readings are kind of buried here on this thread. They would get more exposure on a thread of their own where people can find them. Probably under “Liturgy and Scripture”.

They are also posted on a Wiki thread here…

The daily readings were not the original purpose of the original thread, but rather a part of it that evolved over time; not only to provide a service for anyone interested in the readings, or anyone who might accidentally come upon the thread - but it also served as proof to those who claim the Catholic Church does not have the Bible, or teach from the Bible, etc.

Cuz apparently, there are people who are under the impression that we’re not familiar with Scripture.
