My name is Stefano,

I write from Milan, northern Italy where we celebrate Liturgy Mess with the Ambrosian Rite.

I’d like to know if there are some italian (milanes) around the world that know this kind of Liturgy and Calendar.

I have heard of the Ambrosian Rite, but never attended one.

How different is it from the Latin Rite?

Do you still use the traditional Latin version, or is there a “post-Vatican II” version of the Ambrosian Rite?

Concernig my experience, I know just post Vatican II Mass in Ambrosian Rite.

I know that the old latin ambrosian liturgy was more different.

A commision for the Liturgy (created by Card. Martini) is studing some changement to return near the old rite.
 
Roman Rite and Ambrosian Rite are not so different.

Calendar, colours and Liturgy of the Word are very different but the structure of the Mass is not so different.

In my site, I’m building “Liturgy of the Hours”.

Very very hard work!

Are you interested in Old Liturgy or Ambrosian Liturgy after Vatican II?

In the second case I will look for a site of parish which diffuses the Mass…
