Hello,
These types of threads don’t ever seem to go very well, but I thought I would try regardless.
I’ve titled my reading list for this summer as “A Summer of Steinbeck,” hoping to work through John Steinbeck’s major works; however, I’ve picked up some William Faulkner and Wallace Stegner for brief reposes.
If you know of any other American authors who remind you of Steinbeck or Faulkner, please list them here along with any specific books.
My thanks!
