The argument seems logical. Yet, the argument that legalized same sex marriage didn’t appeal to logic but to emotionalism. Yes, the argument for same sex marriage could have still won using one or two other logical approaches, instead it pivoted on loneliness. I’m catholic I don’t believe in same sex marriage whether it’s legal here or not. It could have been done better.
 
Equal protection…

Protection of everyone from SSM.

Deny any privilege…

The privilege that SSM is not allowed amongst citizens.

Look how simple it is.

Enacting a law allowing for SSM and not applying it to everyone equally would be a violation of the 14th.

Point made. The law schools from which these liberal judges graduated should be ashamed.
