Actually, you are being naive.I have watched documentaries from the March for Life, they did a program titledOn the Streets… They interviewed two groups of women. One group dealing with crisis pregnancies, who either kept their baby or adopted the or baby out. After the fact, they were at peace with their decisions to give life to their child.the adoptions were open,so they were still involved in their children’s live to some extent.
The second group, women who chose to abort. The sorrow and regret was palpable. Many fell into alcoholism, drug abuse, etc.
Additionally, they interviewed women there supporting the prolife movement who were atheists, humanists, religion, didn’t even factor into their understanding of the dignity of life in the womb. They knew that intuitively.Abortion is counting unitive to a woman’s nature.
So,believe what you want, however you are off the mark.
Yes, your findings are spot on Jeanne.

So you believe that Amy Brenneman is merely delusional about her lack of regret?

I don’t. I believe that Amy is being fully truthful and sincere in her statement. And furthermore, I think that pretending otherwise is not helping the prolife movement a single bit.

Amy B is one women. This whole debate started because of your sweeping generalization that most post abortive women feel the same way about their experience as she.there may be a very small minority who are ok with their decision to abort. However, overall, most
women regret their abortions. You can persist in believing otherwise, that doesn’t change the reality

I am of the opinion that an abortion to some is in the same category as having a wart removed. In this case its seems to be viewed as another form of birth control. So no, I would not expect that there is any remorse. If that is or is not the norm, I can’t say.

I feel the same way, which is why I oppose abortion in all forms, euthanasia, cloning, embryonic stem cell research, and wart removal.

There have been 58 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. I think we’d notice if there were that many mentally unstable women roaming about everywhere.
I have seen estimates that 25% of American women are on some sort of anti-depressant.
