There are others out there too. Walid Shoebat (a former PLO Palestinian muslim), Brigitte Gabriel (a Christian whose country was devastated by the Hezbollah and Palestinian muslims.

Us Westerners think that political Islam and religious Islam are separate, they are not.

Here is an unclassified doc that I found about Jihad and other things:

Quote, page 5.
"Jihad is regarded by all jurists in the four major sunni schools, with almost no exception, as a collective obligation of the entire community. As fard al-kifaya, johad is binding on the whole community, not just on individuals. If the duty is fulfilled by a part of the community (present day jihdists, for instance), then it ceases to be obligatory on the remainder. The whole community (ummah) falls into error, however, if theobligation is not performed at all. " .
And there is more about why muslims behave so ignorant of their texts to us. When it sounds like they are parroting from a cleric - they are.

Finally, the USG, as a non-Muslim entity, simply lacks the authority to grant credibility (or not) to anything derived from the sources (Koran, Hadith, Sharia). Islamic law is clear that anyone, including a Muslim who lacks in depth knowledge of the various dimensions of Arabic, the figurative, literal, and the forms of metaphor, is prohibited from explaining or interpreting anything in teh koran and the hadith, beyond what they have heard from anotehr who possesses these abilities. One must also have a complete knowledge of which verses abrogate others and which verses stand abrogated.
And it goes into that using the terms such as jihad/jihadist by us infidels doesn’t matter to them. They feel they are ordained by their allah and nothing else matters. The doc also goes into the misconception that is told to us by Muslims that the Islamic texts cannot be learned or understood by us non-Muslims is not true. Anyway, the doc is rather interesting to me and rebuffs a lot of the stuff that Muslims try to tell non-Muslims about these texts of theirs. Oh, and I should add that it says there is no mystery nuance to Arabic vs the English translations.

Military jíhad was abrogated by Bahá’u’lláh. This is what His followers observe, no matter what others do. He said “It is better for you to be killed than to kill”

"Beware lest ye shed the blood of any one. Unsheathe the sword of your tongue from the scabbard of utterance, for therewith ye can conquer the citadels of men’s hearts. We have abolished the law to wage holy war against each other. God’s mercy hath, verily, encompassed all created things, if ye do but understand."

This was one of the three things He first stated on the first day of His Declaration in Baghdad in April, 1863.
As 'Prince of Peace" it would become necessary to lay down the laws for a peaceful planetary society, in which the nations are closely and permanently united, and we are a ways from that happening.
