Thank you, Holly. My heart has been heavy with the remarks of people who rejoiced so totally at the death of a human being. Of course we are happy that there is one less terrorist in the world, and especially the loss of one who planned such atrocities as did this one. But we can’t forget that we as Catholic Christians are called on to treat every human being with dignity.

The part about hate multiplying hate was really him, but the first sentence was something a random person on facebook added to it that keeps getting circulated now.
