Hello
I do not know where to post this, so I will do it here.
It seems that the ask an Apologist is no longer available, so where may I ask a question
thank you

Forum is closing soon, maybe just ask your question or it might never be answered.

Ok. Is there a way to contact the main website, such as under the ''Q&A""

There are always the EWTN radio shows with Fr. Larry Richards, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, Fr. John Riccardo etc.

If you are non-Catholic, you are invited to phone into Called to Communion with Dr. David Anders.

Are you needing an answer to a question that only a priest or church official could answer? Most questions can be answered here. We have some very knowledgeable posters. If it’s a general question, just ask. If we need more specific information, we’ll ask. If it’s of a personal nature, you can call the local parish and ask to speak to a priest. You don’t even need to be catholic. They have some time constraints but will usually be able to set up an appointment.

Thank You. My question deals with the historicity of certain ''Islamic" claims. (not regarding the crucifixion)

I’ll see if @Niblo is still around. He should be able to answer. Anyone else know a member that’s well versed in Islam?

Thank you for helping. However It may be tomorrow when I ask, as it is late here

That’s fine. The forum isn’t slated to permanently close until December 31st. There is still time!

I think that the “Ask an Apologist” category has been disabled since 2017 when CAF transferred to discourse, however you contact Catholic Answers or other Catholic out there (EWTN, etc.)
CAF is also closing soon, but not Catholic Answers.

Maybe our fellow CAFer, @Niblo, can help.

You can also use search and add Ask an apologist key words.

Sorry I am late. I understand most ““hadith”” are later fabrications. What about those (fulfilled) prophecy “hadith” , such as the one regarding Constantinople

Good evening.

No need to apologise.

I presume you are referring to the following ḥādīth:

‘The Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) is reported to have said. “Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will her leader be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!”’ (Musnad Ahmad, Al Hakim, al Jami’ al Saghir).

Some folk claim that this is a reference to the conquest of Constantinople by Sultan Mehmed II in 1453; others that it refers to an event in the End Times.

We can say with certainty that Mehmed II took control of Constantinople. The rest is mere speculation.

I hope that helps; and have a nice day.

Thank you. Do you know where I may find resources that have a Christian/Catholic answer to Islam? And, in “simple english” , this “hadith” is only speculation /not reliable
