Now, that should be taught in sex education classes.
👍 I’m certainly in full agreement.

However; it is most regrettable that Governmental School Education on Sex-Ed for students is adopting in full favor of today’s LGBTQ agenda.

Some Parents are fighting back and don’t want schools to teach their children the LGBTQ Agenda. canadianvalues.ca/SCC/Pledge.html

centurionguard, your attachment is simply unbelievable. Any school course for children with a textbook entitled “Are You A Boy Or A Girl?” and “Gloria Goes to Gay Pride,” is a course which should not be taught. It is an outrage that parents are not allowed to opt out.

I suppose that if the biblical account of Abraham and the angels visit to the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah had been written today, they would all have been offered a remedial course in LGBTQ Studies.

Definitively from a Moral stance the whole world is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah.

And you wonder why increasingly more and more Catholic Families are opting to Home-School their kids.

Adulterated moral corruption from the highest Political powers and Justice systems trickles its way down to every set trap of governmental office.

If I was a parent with younger kids I’d opt to have my kid fail a certain portion of their annual curriculum. No government is going to force my kids to take Sex-Ed.

Stands to reason why the true meaning of Sacred Marriage has become so misconstrued when our own kids are brainwashed by what is taught in our Educational systems.

Heaven help those who assist in turning astray our little ones from God for the false god of sex. Better they were born with a Mill-Stone around their necks.

Was it not the Blessed Virgin Mary who said at Fatima, that more Souls go to Hell due to Sins of Sexual Lusts than any other sin. This is utterly scary. Its heartbreaking.:sad_yes:

A great article by a great natural law scholar.

But I can’t understand how the bolded below part fits in.
Midnight. Shelly is getting herself drunk so that she can bring herself to go home with the strange man seated next to her at the bar. One o’clock. Steven is busy downloading pornographic images of children from Internet bulletin boards. Two o’clock. Marjorie, who used to spend every Friday night in bed with a different man, has been binging and purging since eleven. Three o’clock. Pablo stares through the darkness at the ceiling, wondering how to convince his girlfriend to have an abortion. Four o’clock. After partying all night, Jesse takes another man home, not mentioning that he tests positive for an incurable STD.** Five o’clock. Lisa is in the bathroom, cutting herself delicately with a razor.**

My understanding is that the writer is speaking about three different women living in promiscuity ("of course he doesn’t mention the one man or men involved.

This isn’t what my generation expected when it invented the sexual revolution. The game isn’t fun anymore. Even some of the diehard proponents of that enslaving liberation have begun to show signs of fatigue and confusion.

Seems like an every day situational story in today’s secular society with (“no standards of Morals”). People today equate Love and Sex as meaning the same thing.

…continuing the conversation here about “the bolded part”…

(Having, like others, read the whole article)…

I believe the author is also alluding to the multiple devolutions which have resulted from the so-called sexual “revolution” – devolutions which manifest themselves in the disconnectedness of individuals not only from each other, but from themselves, from their own Life, wholeness, integrity.

What gets me in all this Sex Ed teaching for students is how does this type of curriculum account to a credit towards the end of a student’s Academic year.

Its beyond me that they make this academic subject a compulsory course.

If a student fails Sex Ed does he/she fail their next grade or worse yet fail to graduate High School because they failed Sex Ed?

Great article. Of course, we can differ on the biological, psychological or sociological specifics (that’s what I do for a living :D) but the fundamental message is sound and needs to be circulated more widely.

Most “Sex Education”, in most parts of the world, is ridiculous. I have no objection to teaching basic anatomy and physiology to adolescents (which is morally neutral in itself, provided it is taught in a balanced manner by a mature and morally sound teacher), but the “normalization” of “alternative sexualities” / “LGBT” is going to be a major millstone around the world’s neck for some time to come. Sadly, the “virus” is slowly spreading to different parts of the world

And talk of the “genetic basis of homosexuality” (a common component of “sex education” curricula) is hot air. A small percentage of the world’s population certainly do experience same-sex attraction, but that does not mean they are predestined to be “gay” for the rest of their life - it’s just the trial that they have to face in their own lives. There are plenty of examples of this from biology: for instance, alcoholism has a strong “genetic” component, but even the world’s most “biological” psychiatrist wouldn’t call alcohol dependence “something you are born with”, and anyone working in the field knows that it’s an individual person’s will and motivation that can get him out of his state - medications and therapy can help, but they don’t work on their own. I believe that the same holds good for same-sex attractions.

A recent Catholic Insight article about the Province of Ontario’s Premier Dalton McGuinty the one responsible for imposing the New Curriculum on Sex Ed also happens to be a devout Catholic.

catholicinsight.com/online/political/article_1181.shtml
So as to make clear that everyone understood him. Premier McGuinty again spited his Catholic faith, this time at a Catholic high school in Markham, ON, a suburb of Toronto, where he stood in front of neatly uniformed students to declare that his “private” Catholic faith does not decide his approach to formulating public policy.
“My Catholicism, my private faith, does not determine my position,” he said at St. Augustine’s Catholic High School. “My responsibility to the public interest does.” He also boasted that he has gone against his faith in the past, supporting same-sex marriage" and a woman s “right” to access abortion when he believed it was in the greater public good (Toronto Sun, Sept. 18, 2007; LifeSiteNews, Sept. 18, 2007).
In May 2006, McGuinty was described by the media as being “both Catholic and ‘pro-choice’” when he told a scrum of reporters at Queen’s Park that he has “a different constituency than does the Pope. I am responsible for representing all kinds of people from all kinds of different backgrounds, different faiths, different cultures, different traditions. There’s one particular aspect of myself that is in common with the Pope and (that is) I happen to be Catholic. But I have other responsibilities as well … I think it is pretty clear that there are very few political leaders who would allow themselves and their actions to be formed exclusively by the dictates of the Church.”
Catholic Insight issued a press release on both occasions. In May it pointed out it was impossible to be a Catholic and publicly support abortion. “The Magisterium of the Church has solemnly declared abortion to be an intrinsic evil, directly contradicting God’s reason and revelation,” it said. “Abortion is neither a ‘right,’ nor is it acceptable. It is wholly evil.”
The editor added that the Code of Canon Law of the Catholic Church (Canon 915) makes it clear that “those who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.” “Premier McGuinty clearly falls into this category. We call on Mr. McGuinty to rethink what it means to be a Catholic. There can be no fence-sitting on this issue.”
When McGuinty repeated similar sentiments in Markham, Catholic Insight responded with another press release, citing McGuinty for giving false witness to Catholic students and attacking the notion that one can keep a “private” Catholic faith that separates what one purports to believe from what one says and does.
On these two issues Catholic Insight spoke for all religious-minded Ontarians, all major faiths, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, reject the trashing of the dignity of the individual and the perversion of marriage.
On April 22, 2010, Premier McGuinty announced a new sex education plan for Grade 1 to 8 students in all schools which he withdrew a few days later.
The program for Grade 1 stipulated that children learn all parts of the human body, including all sexual parts.
In Grade 3, children would have been told they cannot be certain whether they are boys or girls. One may be a boy on the outside, but a girl on the inside or vice versa, suggested the program.
The Grade 6 program would have explained sexual perversions such as oral and anal sex, no doubt with appropriate illustrations.
In Grade 8, students would have been told that “marriage” between men and women with same-sex attractions was just as good as marriage between normal husbands and wives.
Today former Education Minister Kathleen Wynne assured the newspaper Xtra that it will be re-introduced soon.
The McGuinty-Wynne sex-ed plan for elementary schools suffered from major errors:
  1. False philosophy: It is based on the premise that information is knowledge and that knowledge leads to virtue. History shows that there is no truth to this.
  1. False statecraft: It holds that the province of Ontario can tell schools, public and Catholic, what to teach without (name removed by moderator)ut from parents and prior province-wide discussions
  1. False history: The province of Ontario cannot tell Catholics, who have had their own school system since the British North America Act in 1867, how they should teach ethics and morals. The Canadian Constitution says so.
  1. False information: Nothing is more harmful to children than providing them with knowledge of sexual perversions held by small sections of society who have replaced God’s commandments with their own.
  1. False psychology: The thinking is that educating children consists of pumping information into them and–voila!–out comes the ideal citizen. In reality, the education of children is a delicate thing. During the “latency” period, which normally lasts from ages
6 to 12, children should not be confronted with sexual knowledge at all, except by their parents and then only when they themselves ask questions.
With respect to homosexual behaviour, United Families International, on January 13, 2010, noted the following:
Homosexual behaviour is not a “civil right”
Homosexual behaviour is not genetic
Homosexual behaviour is not innate
Homosexual behaviour will have negative consequences for individuals and society
Homosexual behaviour is changeable
On October 6 say: NO to McGuinty’s sex education; NO to McGuinty’s Liberals; NO to Dalton McGuinty.
Ontario Premier: Catholic schools have no choice but to accept gay clubs

Hi, Centurionguard,

I think we need to be careful about how the word ‘devout’ is used. In calling Premier McGuinty ‘devout’ we need to be mindful that he has already excommunicated himself. My guess is that calling him an, "Apostate Catholic’ may be more in keeping in touch with reality.

Agreed;I used the word devout because that’s what he still thinks he actually is. Strange though how a person like this can still think he’s a good Catholic and separate himself from moral culpability between his Catholic views and those of his political convictions.

Truthfully he’s not a Catholic at all. His political convictions excommunicate himself from the Catholic Church by his own deeds.
