An Associate of the Child Jesus

An associate of the Child Jesus, is a man or woman, married or single, who recognizes in themselves the same gift or charism, the the same aspirations as Anne Marie Martel. It is someone who feels called to live their baptism fully, more deeply, more actively, following in the footsteps of Anne Marie Martel. An Associate continues to carry out their responsibilites and profession, while at the same time living out Anne Marie Martel’s charism in their everyday lives and in contact with all the people they meet.

Sounds like a cult. Way too much emphasis on the founder, not enough emphasis on God. I would avoid it like the plague.

I disagree. I was reading the website and it does not appear like a cult.

Anne Marie Martel has a very beautiful history. 🙂 Are you thinking about becoming part of this, or are you already? I’ll be praying for you!
 
Eucharisted–I’m sorry but I would have to disagree with you also. Anne-Marie Martel is the foundress of The Sisters of the Child Jesus.

I’m still in contact with a couple of Sisters that live in my hometown.

As for the Associate of the Child Jesus I did meet a woman by the name of Pat.

CarmeliteGirl25-Although, I’m still in contact (email, regular mail, phone, etc.) with two active orders one being The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary and The Sisters of the Child Jesus I told both of these religious orders that my heart and everything else belongs to Carmelite.
