An Atheist Recants

British intellectual A.N. Wilson, by his own admission, was a member for many years of the company of smug mockers of religion that dominates Britain’s chattering classes.
Not any more.
Writing in Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, Wilson recounts why he has abandoned the trendy atheism of which he was formerly a prominent apostle.
Raised a Christian, Wilson’s faith weakened as he matured and collapsed completely by the time he was in his 30s.
And by the 1990s, he had authored a book, titled Jesus: A Life, that denied the divinity of Jesus and the miraculous aspects of his birth, life and death.

Wish I knew how to do a link to our local newspaper blogs. There’s an annoying atheist online who always has links to anti-religion articles in his blogs.Scary thing is most folks replying agree with him.

I really enjoyed Pope Emeritus’ response. Thoughtful, but not at all wimpy, or condecending. One part that made me smile was the part where he wrote *Logos *above all logi a play on “Lord of lords”

Wish I knew how to do a link to our local newspaper blogs.

Here are some steps that I hope will help. My apologies if you are already aware of some of these steps:

1. Go to the page that you want to link to.
2. In your browser’s address bar (where it will likely start with )) click on it just once.
3. You’re going to copy that address by holding down the control key and then clicking “c”. (If you want instead, you can right click on that address and a menu will appear. When it does, click copy.)
4. Create a new post on CAF and click on the little image that looks like a globe with a chain link in front it.
5. A small window will appear asking you to enter the address of the page you want to link to. To do that you hold the control key and then click “v”. (If you want instead, you can right click on where it asks you to enter the address. A menu will appear and you’ll want to click paste.)
6. In that small box hit the ok button.
7. Type the rest of your post normally. Make sure to preview the post to verify the link is working correctly.
