This mother, Lacey Buchanan, was faced with the challenge of carrying a seriously ill baby. No-one knew quite how ill this little boy was until he was born, when it was realized that he had both a cleft lip/palate, but also clefted eyes, leaving him blind for life.
This video is one she made, describing on cards both her pregnancy with her little boy, but also some of the harsh and often cruel comments she received from people. One person even asked her why she hadn’t simply aborted him before he was born.
At the end of the video, she shows him to the camera, with a great big grin on his face.
The sheer love and power she has for this little boy Christian is simply amazing. I cried at this video.
