An Awkward Explanation on how Catholics "do Mass"

Seems to be an awful lot of “But that’s the way we’ve always done it” in the Church these days. Just today, we see people beside themselves over the thought of not having kneelers in the sanctuary, applauding after the Mass has ended, receiving by hand and not mouth.
That argument cuts both ways. Many who’ve only seen the priest facing the people might get awfully upset seeing a priest in an “ad orientem” position, for example.
The video says that the parish doesn’t use priests. Priests are necessary for a consecration to be valid. If the priest is out of communion with Rome, the consecration is illicit, but valid. Therefore, if they do indeed not have validly ordained priests, their Eucharist is invalid, and not truly the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ.
I thought you might have been making reference to their bread, which admittedly wasn’t in the form of a wafer.
