An endless search

Ever since my youth, I have felt extremely called to marriage. It’s simply a part of my identity to defend my chastity for whomever I shall marry, for there are people worth abstaining for. However, my love life is virtually non-existent. I am very afraid to approach girls and when I do I always get rejected. Now I know with every rejection, I am one step closer to finding her, but sometimes I get very lonely. I usually channel this by playing music, writing poetry and learning the arts (Philosophy, Latin, Literature, etc)., but sometimes even that doesn’t work. Any advice? Is there a saint I can pray to?

Thirdly, I gave this some thought once before. If you want to meet people you have to go where people are, that’s a given. So the next thing is to go where the kind of people you want to meet go. For example, if you want to meet someone who likes books, try frequenting one of those ultra modern bookshops that also sell coffee, or tea.

Maybe you could make a few notes about the qualities of the person you’d like to meet and then reconcile those qualities with places you’re likely to meet them.

Be confident when you get there and trust Our Lady to help you with this.
