Apology accepted. One last thing. Dotn call ghe Churches of CHrist a “Denomenation.” Cahtolcis hate beign called a Denomenation. So you shoudl understand also that CoC doesnt call itself this either. Its wholly independant, not in communion wiht any other CHurches and not recognisign of them.
I know Cahtolic claims well. I speak regulalry to cahtolics. Mzny think I am Cahtolic.
The primary reason the CHruches of CHrist do not use them is based on the fac that no new testament text claims them. You may ee this as an inconsistancy, bt overall it sjust aprt of the practice of te CHruch that one becomes aquaitned with and that rellay ought not matter. it doesnt affect the hteology in any way and is a petty poitn of disagreement hat is overly paid undue attention for no real reason.
Can’t you perhapos make a better challenge? IE, tryign to defend Cahtolisisms posiitons by tellign why, or else perhaps explainig why he theology of soem modern Arian gorups is flawed, and not dwell on minor points such as this?
I hope now to end my invovlement on this thread. I myself am sorry if anyoen was inconvneicned by me. However, I was complled out of integrety, wiht no intenion of violatig rules of the forum. However, I did see the thread as itsself offnesive in its origional intent.
