Praying for your mom and family. 🙏

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail, Mary, Full of grace,
The Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,

Thanks again for the prayers. I’m in Montana visiting mom. A lot of family is here as well. Mom’s doing pretty good. Not a lot of energy, but her face is bright. She gives credit to the prayers she’s getting.

This is the sweetest prayer. I have been praying it with my family.

I’m holding vigil at my mom’s bedside right now. She hasn’t been out of bed for three days and hasn’t eaten for a week. She has had a few sips of water since I’ve been here.

Thank you for the prayers everyone. It’s the nicest thing you could do for me right now.
 
Dear Jesus, please wrap your warm and loving arms around Tad’s mother, Tad and his family. Let them feel your love and wash over them with the peace that only you can give. Please help them through this difficult time. Ease their pain and worries. Fill them with your grace, strength, love and support.

Like the rest of us, mom made it through Holy Week. The hospice nurses are amazed she is still here. They say her heart is very strong. Still, I’ve been watching her wither away and she’s nothing but skin and bones. I’m starting to get really angry with God which isn’t normal for me. We’re leaving in the morning to fly back home. This is really upsetting to me.

Hospice sent an harpist over. She’s playing for my mom right now. It’s very soothing.

Keep praying all. Lord knows we need it.

Continued prayers, tad. If it makes you feel any better, often times parents do not pass while their children are actually there but seemingly “wait until they leave”. My cousins and I have both had these types of experiences.

Eternal God,in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent, but instead with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will, which is love and mercy itself. Amen.

O St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus Christ, true spouse of the Virgin Mary, and patron of a happy death, pray for us and for all those suffering and dying in the world this day/ night, especially Tad’s mother.

We fly to thy patronage, o Holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us from all dangers, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin. Amen.

Father , we get stuck about what to say when we are in a situation like @tad , his mum and loved ones are in .

I’m back home. Just heard from my brother that my mother made it through another night, though she got restless from 3 to 6 am. She’s settled down now and her vitals are still strong.

I was able to make it to mass this morning. It was good to be back with my faith community. Father was especially kind.
