A “Tridentine” wedding which just took place on January 4th, 2008 at Assumption Grotto in Detroit. Last night, I posted about a dozen photos on my blog.

Here is one example:

This was the first Wedding using the Missal of 1962 in 40 years at Assumption Grotto.

See my blogpost for about a dozen stunning photos!

Deo Gratias!

Everything about the photos is beautiful - altar, wedding party, vestments! (Looked at them on your blog.) Notice the modest covering on the bride’s shoulders. Thank you for something that is good news for a change! 🙂

Thank you so much for this thread. “Grotto” is my old parish. Fr. Perrone looks well. God bless him!

Sorry folks, I had to move the photo from it’s original location and it was lost in the original post. Here it is again. Get the link in my opening post.

Those photos are stunning. The whole setting looks so very holy. How absolutely beautiful! 🙂

oh, how pretty!

I was at assumption grotto about 4 years ago for my daughter’s first communion. we made a special trip to do it (we’re in the saginaw diocese). it’s a beautiful church and I’d like to go back some time. 😃

Magnificent! Really helps portray the beauty and solemnity of the occasion. Thanks for sharing.
