An interesting imagination excercise....you are a Pharisee.....

As a Pharisee I would not know what would convince me that I was meeting the Son of God. But if it was the Son of God, He would know what would convince me.

If I was unconvinced, then either it was not the Son of God, or else it was the Son of God and He didn’t want me to be convinced.

Unfortunately, being a fallible human, I might be convinced but be mistaken.
This is very interesting thinking Nixbits 🙂

Do you think therefore that God would only want to convince those who He thinks are ready to be convinced?

(you do realise you just said that anyone who thinks differently to Catholics should be open to prejudice and ridicule right?)
Read more carefully.

You said that "Those who are armed with the power of the Holy Spirit often face [ridicule and prejudice].

And I said that so do those who peddle silly ideas. I said nothing about non-Catholics.

Where did you get that…um…idea?

I think the spirit behind your last few posts are quite self evident to anyone with a brain 🙂

God bless you.

I hoped the word Baha’i would not creep into this thread.
You have noted your religion is Baha’i. That puts a slightly different light on your question.
But it seems Catholics cannot help themselves. Can we not have a dialogue and explore these things regardless of religion?
Not exactly charitable on your part, is it?

And so is the proselytizing effort behind your last 3400 posts. :sad_yes:

However, don’t forget that Catholic mods have been VERY charitable toward you and your friends.

Actually dear friend, you are totally correct and for that I apologize. I should have said:

“SOME Catholics can’t seem to help themselves”

God bless you for your charitable approach in pointing this out to me 🙂
