Scout:
I scored as Augustine, which is great, except I don’t believe in predestination.

Scout :tiphat:
Predestination is a dogma of the Catholic faith. We are required to believe it, albeit, we dont have to agree completely with Augustine’s view of it. I would reccommend Dr Ludwig Ott’s “Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma” for more information.

God bless.

Al Eluia:
I scored 79% Roman Catholic. I’m not sure what to do with that since I’m actually Episcopalian. I do have a lot of Catholic sentiments and listen to my local Catholic radio station as it’s the only Christian station I can stand. I’m sure you’re all praying for me now to join the Church! Well, we’ll see . . . Fun quiz.
yeah! Welcome home to Rome! I would strongly encourage watching EWTN for more information on the Faith.

God bless you!

**👋 **
100% Roman Catholic :irish2: 87% Anslem

Fun Quizz 😃 !!!

Thank You !

80% Karl Barth…is that good or bad?

The quiz seemed pretty Protestant to me… some of the questions, I thought were bad questions LOL

I scored more Catholic than I thought I might (I’m no theologian). I guess if you answer the Mary and Pope questions affirmatively, it gets you in the Catholic column.

Which theologian are you?
I scored.
Anselm
100%

I don’t even want to comment on my theological world view.## You scored as **Neo orthodox. **

You are neo-orthodox. You reject the human-centredness and scepticism of liberal theology, but neither do you go to the other extreme and make the Bible the central issue for faith. You believe that Christ is God’s most important revelation to humanity, and the Trinity is hugely important in your theology. The Bible is also important because it points us to the revelation of Christ. You are influenced by Karl Barth and P T Forsyth.

Neo orthodox 79%

Emergent/Postmodern 79%

Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 75%

Classical Liberal 57%

Roman Catholic 54%

Modern Liberal 46%

Reformed Evangelical 43%

Charismatic/Pentecostal 25%

Fundamentalist 21%

World-view over; Theologian coming up…

Then I had to answer a second tie-breaker, on the quiz below: I answered 2 - but it’s very hard to choose:

**Your Preference (Most True) **

1
  • Man’s main sin is failing to give to God the obedience that we owe him
2
  • God’s sovereignty is supremely important in theological discussion
You scored as **John Calvin. **

Much of what is now called Calvinism had more to do with his followers than Calvin himself, and so you may or may not be committed to TULIP, though God’s sovereignty is all important.

Anselm 100%

John Calvin 100%

Juergen Moltmann 87%

Friedrich Schleiermacher 80%

Karl Barth 67%

Augustine 60%

Paul Tillich 60%

Charles Finney 47%

Jonathan Edwards 40%

Martin Luther 40%

I would prefer to have been Barth, but Calvin will do nicely
